These paid internships help Catholics in the United States to gain experience working with dioceses around the U.S. to fight poverty by engaging in the work of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD).

Many campuses have chosen to work with the anti-poverty organizations funded by the U.S. bishops’ Catholic Campaign for Human Development to address poverty through community and economic development. This helps Catholic colleges live out their mission, while increasing the organizations’ capacity to fight poverty.
