CAMPUS-COMMUNITY COLLABORATION TO ADDRESS POVERTY

Catholic colleges and universities can collaborate with community organizations to address poverty. Many campuses have chosen to work with the anti-poverty organizations funded by the U.S. bishops’ Catholic Campaign for Human Development to address poverty through community and economic development. This helps Catholic colleges live out their mission, while increasing the organizations’ capacity to fight poverty.
